The British & Irish Boxing Authority (BIBA) have arranged an Association of Professional Boxing Commissions (APBC) Certified Corner\/Cutman Course, at the Stanley Street Sports and Social Club in Worksop, Nottinghamshire on Sunday 3rd July 2022, that is essential for all Coaches and Cornermen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ALL Coaches are welcome, as these courses are essential for all coaches in our sport whether Pro, Amateur or Unlicensed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cut\/Cornerman course covers all aspects from weigh-in to post fight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subjects covered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Duty of Care<\/li>
  2. Coaches\/Cornermen\/Cutman Responsibilities<\/li>
  3. Cutman\u2019s Tools of the Trade<\/li>
  4. Professional Hand Bandaging<\/li>
  5. Weight Cutting and Weigh-in<\/li>
  6. Working the Corner \u2013 Contest and Sparring<\/li>
  7. Types of Injuries and Rules Pertaining to Injuries.<\/li>
  8. Corner Treatment of Bruising, Swellings and Cuts<\/li>
  9. Post Fight<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The Course will take place at Stanley Street Sports and Social Club in Worksop, Nottinghamshire on Sunday 3rd July 2022 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Times and fees for the course are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1pm to 5pm<\/strong> \u2013 Cornerman\/Cutman Course \u2013 \u00a395 per person<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Photo ID as well as a Passport-Size Head & Shoulders Photo for Certification are required, so please bring with you on the day. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
